Sunshine Coast Challenge Golf runs Monthly Events with a Single Stableford Competition

* GA handicap only. Non handicap players are eligible for NTP and Group Aggregate prizes only.

MEMBERS COMPETITIONS (financial members)

 

Annual Points Champion

The Annual Points Champion is the player who has the most points as at 31 December each year.

(Count-back on order of highest placed finishes).

Points are awarded each month as per the following conditions:-

Ranking in the field

       Position           1 – 5           5 points

       Position           6 – 12         4 points

       Position           13 – 31       3 points

       Position           31 – 53       2 points

       Position           54 – 75       1 point

 The places are plus ties, eg if 13th and 14th have the same score as 12th, awarded 4 points not 3 points.

Attendance

All players are awarded 2 points for playing in an event

Raffle Points

Five winners drawn in the raffle are awarded 5 points each.

 

Points accumulate from January to December toward annual prizes.

Top 100 players (plus ties) are eligible for annual prizes.

(NCR rounds are awarded attendance points only)

 

Champion of Champions – Men

The division winners qualify each month.  The Champion of Champions playoff will be played in conjunction with the January event (or first event of the year).  The qualifier with the best score at that event will be awarded Champion of Champions – Men.

 

Champion of Champions – Women

The division winners qualify each month.  The Champion of Champions playoff will be played in conjunction with the January event (or first event of the year).  The qualifier with the best score at that event will be awarded Champion of Champions – Women.

 

Inter-club Trophy

Inter-club team scores comprise the aggregate of the top three scores returned from members of a golf club at a monthly event.

Team points are awarded each month as per the following:-

              First                 8 points

              Second           6 points

              Third               4 points

              Fourth             2 points

              Fifth                1 point

Points accumulate from January to December toward the Inter-club Trophy.

 

Annual Points Champion, Champion of Champions-Men, Champion of Champions-Women qualifiers must be a current financial member of Sunshine Coast Challenge Golf Inc.

 

The presentation of annual prizes will be held at the January event (or first event of the year), or at the discretion of the committee.
